KFTD Implements Anti-Bribery Management System to Prevent Corruption

The application of the Anti-Bribery Management System is used to detect and handle any act of bribery and corruption within the company using effective good corporate governance principles. It is also shown in the following practices:

  • Anti-Bribery Commitment

The commitment to anti-bribery and corruption in KFTD goes to the point where Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution will not hesitate to cut off any partnership—particularly if there is any slight indication of bribery related to the transactions, projects or other relevance of the partnership. This commitment is nurtured by implementing the Anti-Bribery Management System in KFTD.

  • Rising Concern

Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution encourages all employees to report with good intentions any indication or suspicion of bribery or corruption. The company also treats every report with high confidentiality, allowing anonymous reporting and providing a Whistle Blowing System (WBS) for a safe reporting activity.

  • Investigating Bribery / Suspected Bribery

As a continuation of any report received, KFTD conducted a thorough investigation by forming the Anti-Bribery Compliance and Internal Audit functions. The investigation is carried out by upholding principles such as transparency and accountability and by applicable laws.

  • Evaluation

Implementing the Anti-Bribery Management System also requires continuous evaluation. KFTD will review, measure, analyze, and evaluate the system’s suitability for work performance, training effectiveness, bribery risk assessment, and other compliance factors.

Through sustainable and continuous evaluation and review processes, KFTD always strives to take corrective actions and increase compliance-related actions and anti-corruption awareness within the company.
